About us
NOZOMI HEALTH:
IMPROVING ACCESS TO INNOVATIVE TREATMENTS IN CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA.
Our history
Our founder, Rafael Mendoza, in his experience as president of Astrazeneca in different regions of the world and as a passionate social entrepreneur, understood and became sensitive to the difficulties that many patients face when trying to access the treatments they need.
At Nozomi Salud, we work closely with national and international pharmaceutical companies, medical specialists, insurance providers, healthcare institutions and centers, drugstores, and pharmacies, building strategic partnerships that enable us to bring innovative solutions to those who need them.
We are proud to offer treatments developed by globally recognized pharmaceutical companies, backed by scientific evidence and approvals from the relevant health authorities, under a model designed to ensure quality, safety, and access.
Our commitment goes beyond simply facilitating access to medications. We are developing new solutions to provide comprehensive support for patients, including genetic and biomolecular diagnostic centers, networks of specialized pharmacies, and treatment centers, creating an ecosystem in which the patient and their progress are at the center of every decision.
Throughout his career, he observed that in emerging countries—such as those in our region—access to innovative medicines can occur several years later than in developed countries. This gap poses a challenge for patients living with chronic and complex diseases, as well as for the doctors who support them in managing their health.
Faced with this reality, Rafael set out to develop a business model capable of helping to bridge the gaps in access to innovative treatments, creating value for patients while simultaneously mitigating the risks and challenges faced by large pharmaceutical companies in emerging markets.
This is how Nozomi Salud was born, with the vision of transforming access to healthcare in Central and South America through a comprehensive, innovative, and sustainable model.

Today, we have a multidisciplinary team and a specialized structure that allows us to support every stage of this mission. We bring together expertise in development and portfolio management, commercial management, regional regulatory leadership, logistics, business intelligence, compliance, quality, and social responsibility, combining market knowledge, pharmaceutical experience, and a results-oriented strategic vision.

At Nozomi Salud, we believe that access to healthcare should not be determined by geographic location or by the barriers that have historically limited the timely availability of innovative treatments. That is why we work every day to build a model that connects innovation, knowledge, technology, and responsible management, helping to improve people’s quality of life and strengthen healthcare systems in Central and South America.
